We are recruiting for a Buyer for our growing and innovative client in Alton. Join this leading distribution company and benefit from 28-35k salary, private medical cover and monthly bonuses.

As the Buyer you will enjoy:

- 20 days Holiday + Bank Holidays
- 37.5 hour week - 09.00 - 17.30 (Mon-Thur), 14:30 finish on Fridays- 28-35k dependent on experience

As the Buyer your responsibilities will include:

- Being responsible for the purchasing of materials and services including production parts, and consumables items
- Negotiating prices and lead times and maintaining relationships with current and new suppliers-Compiling Purchase Orders with approved vendor(s)
- Ensuring cost control and effective buying of terms of price, service and quality
- Developing and providing reports to management as required
- Providing internal support to sales team regarding purchasingmatters
- Sourcing and on-boarding of new suppliers
