**Head of Group Transactional Services**
**Permanent role - Hybrid**
**Based in **Liverpool or London however will need to work in London on occasions**
**Working Pattern Monday - Friday 35 Hours**

**Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the role is responsible for providing efficient and effective finance processing services to the Group and its subsidiaries. The role is accountable for ensuring there are appropriate processes to ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers and collection of debt, and that there are the appropriate financial controls.**
**The role will provide leadership and direction to the Financial Processing teams in all aspects of their work, whilst fostering a continuous improvement culture across the teams.**

- Ensure the Finance Processing team are fully developed, motivated and managed, recruiting, reviewing performance, and providing coaching.
- Lead and drive efficient, standardised, effective, and systematic finance processing services for the Group
- Ensure the delivery of a high-quality service and striving to continuously improve processes within a strong financial control environment.

**Role Profile**
- Lead, manage and co-ordinate a team. Actively coach and manage performance of individuals, teams, and departments to achieve the stated objectives of TRGL and positively impact upon the customers of TRGL.
- Ensure the Finance Processing team are fully developed, motivated and managed, recruiting, reviewing performance, and providing coaching.
- Lead and drive efficient, standardised, effective, and systematic finance processing services for the Group
- Ensure the delivery of a high-quality service and striving to continuously improve processes within a strong financial control environment.
- Devise, implement and continually review effective internal business processes and controls to support the processing of financial transactions.
- Support the Head of Financial Accounting & Control in the smooth and timely delivery of the external audit.
- To provide challenge to the business to ensure that appropriate financial controls are applied to all key systems, processes, and ways of working across the whole of TRGL.
- To support the budget, quarterly forecast, and business plan processes, in ensuring the required information is delivered accurately and in a timely manner.
- Produce internal reports to highlight performance against target and conduct regular reviews with internal and external stakeholders to improve efficiency and the service provision.
- Ensure the relevant SLAs and KPIs are in place to provide efficient and relevant finance processing services to the Group, seeking to drive efficiency and improvements, for both internal and external customers. Approval Date Reference Owner Review Date 28/02/2020 Human Resources 2
- Drive appropriate processes to ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers and collection of debt.
- To initiate, deliver on and be involved in any projects which will increase efficiency of transaction processing.
- Work with other members of the finance team to develop appropriate finance systems enhancements to improve efficiency and ensure the integrity of internal controls operating within the finance function.
