Food Technician
Do you have experience working within a secondary school as a food technician, or have the necessary transferable skills?
Aspire People are looking for a Food Technician to work both within the school kitchen and alongside staff within Food technology lessons.
Job role/responsibilities
- Advise and support teachers; to ensure staff understand the use of equipment including the resources and all students have a in depth understanding of the food being used
- Monitor and control the supplies during both the food lessons and school kitchen Understanding of health and safety of food rooms, this is to ensure the routine and outline checking of cleaning and maintaining the kitchen area.
You will need to have a basic understanding of food hygiene and experience of working within a school setting or the willingness to adapt to a mainstream secondary school environment.
