Cover Supervisor

**Job Title: Cover Supervisors (Primary Schools)**

**Location**: Rhondda Cynon Taff, Wales

**Job Type**: Full-time or Part-time, Temporary

**About Us**:
We are a group of primary schools located throughout Rhondda Cynon Taff, committed to providing high-quality education and fostering a supportive learning environment for our students. Due to increasing demand, we are seeking experienced Cover Supervisors to join our dedicated team on a temporary basis.

**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise classes in the absence of regular teachers, following lesson plans and ensuring a productive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline in accordance with school policies.
- Provide support and assistance to students as needed, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Liaise with school staff to report on student progress and any issues arising during cover sessions.
- Adhere to safeguarding and health & safety guidelines at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar role in a primary school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain discipline and manage behavior effectively.
- Flexible, adaptable, and reliable, with the ability to work across multiple schools as required.
- A passion for education and a commitment to supporting the learning and development of primary school students.
