We are looking for Mentors to join our residential childcare team working with young people in our Therapeutic Home in Inverness, Scotland.

Over our 4 week rota period, you will be primarily based in Inverness, where you will undertake a full week's (7 days) residential work and your remaining contracted hours (approx. 4/5 days) will be made up in our East Sussex homes.

Extra travel to East Sussex may be required within the first 3-6 months of employment, due to in-house training and meeting commitments.

**Travel to East Sussex for training will be essential - your flights will be paid for you.**

Our mentors participate in the day-to-day parenting of our young people, as well as this you will need to be able to maintain accurate records, deal with practical problems and be pro-active in your approach to work. It will also be important for you to for you to understand, empathise, set and maintain boundaries, motivate, encourage, support and be a part of a strong dynamic team.

As the Mentor role entails daily paperwork via a computer, previous computer knowledge/skills are preferred.

As a Mentor, you will be expected to take part in the day to day running of the home. This includes cleaning, cooking and running day to day duties.

A salary of £34,362.52 p/a.

**Driving is essential for the role.**
