If so, we’re looking for you to join our Estates Management Team at our Cheshire Gas Storage Facility.

As part of the role you will develop your knowledge of Planning, Environmental, Health and Safety processes that will help support the facilities regulatory Compliance, Environmental and Health and Safety aspects whilst working on an Upper Tier COMAH site, across three working farms, comprising of 100 hectares.

Working closely with our Estates Manager, you’ll be training and guided to develop your knowledge in coordinating and supporting with non-routine operations and projects within the industrial areas at site.

**What you'll be doing**

You’ll be working collaboratively with the various site teams and will be provided with the relevant guidance, training and support to be successful in the role. In this role, your day to day responsibilities will consist of:

- Assist maintenance and minor project activities associated with the Land and Estates
- Supervise, organise, plan and set to work contract teams
- Support and authorise work activities outside of gas operational areas
- Work closely with the Estates Manager in maintaining full compliance with environmental, Town Planning, lease and licence conditions
- Support the on-site security team and maintenance of security access controls
- Produce and update drawings, including carrying out site surveys and inspections

**Who you are**

It would be advantageous, if you have knowledge developed though an academic or vocational qualification relevant to countryside management, town planning, environmental health and safety or an agriculture background.

On a personal level, you’ll be approachable and great at building relationships both with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be working with Contractors, Local Authorities and our Local Communities, giving all a positive experience and supporting to the best of your ability.

You’ll have strong multi-tasking ability, proficient IT skills, be a strong communicator in both written and verbal with a willingness to learn.

A full driving license will be required.
