M&e Engineer

You will provide technical support and advice on the delivery of planned and routine maintenance for mechanical and electrical installations.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Specify, supervise and inspect planned gas installations and repairs
- Carry out the role of contract administrator in line with council procurement rules
- Identify and pursue sources of funding or other resources to improve the council's service
- Survey property and specify required works as they relate to heating
- Take an active role in the commitment to Net Zero emissions

**What we are looking for**:
We are looking for an experienced surveyor, who can use their initiative to manage a varied and broad workload. You will ideally have:

- Relevant qualifications in gas, mechanical or electrical or equivalent experience
- Experience in a gas, mechanical or electrical role including specifications, contracts management, cost estimates and supervision of works
- CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 preferred
- Having access to your own vehicle is preferred
