Job description

**We have a great opportunity to join our team as a Communications Officer on a permanent, full time (37 hours per week) basis.**

**What the Communications Officer role entails.**

To develop communications to support the delivery of LTE group’s strategic plan, including colleague communications, colleague, customer and change communications. relating to Group projects and communication deliverables.

**The skills and experience required to be successful in the role of Communications Officer include**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent marketing / communications qualification e.g.
- Institute of Internal Communications
- Chartered Institute of Marketing
- Chartered Institute of Public Relations
- Experience in a communications role. Managing messages and media; writing skills; building positive relationships and providing guidance and solutions to internal stakeholders
- Experience of producing engaging, clear and accessible communications for a range of audiences
- Demonstrable experience of working across social media channels
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong listening skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team and under own initiative
- Capable of working flexibly to tight deadlines, while still maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage a multitude of activities with competing deadlines
- Contributes ideas to ensure communications activity maintains momentum and strive for continuous improvement
- Demonstrates sensitivity and has a high level of integrity
