ROOM LEADERS / Early Years Practitioner
COMPETITIVE SALARY

A lovely Nursery in Elephant and Castle is looking for an EYP / Room Leader. Working 40 hours a week on a shift rotation. The nursery’s very keen on promotion from within and pay is competitive

**Requirements**:

- Must hold a level 3 childcare qualification
- Must have one to two years of experience
- Must have or be able to undergo an enhanced DBS check

**Duties / Responsibilities**:
Safeguarding children and promoting their welfare at all times.
- Adhering to the policies and procedures of the Day Nursery and compliance with the EYFS, H&S legislation and within Ofsted guidelines
- Ensuring confidentiality is maintained in the nursery.
- Working as part of a team and planning appropriate activities in line with EYFS
- The care and supervision of the children
- Forming and maintaining strong partnerships with parents and ensuring that regular feedback regarding children’s learning and development is shared.
- Preparation, care, cleanliness and maintenance of the playrooms and equipment.
- Offering all children equal opportunities
