**Who are you?**

As an Azure Cloud M365 specialist, you will be hands-on and have extensive knowledge of M365 delivery and services, including Messaging & Collaboration, Modern Endpoint Management, and Cloud Security.

**Job Overview**

You will work and help deliver IT services including cloud and on-premise Infrastructure, Network, and Server projects, and manage their day-to-day operations. You'll be working as part of the internal IT team to ensure the core IT services across all sitesof the organisation are reliable and resilient and developed according to the needs of the business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure IT cloud and on-premise infrastructure and Applications are proactively managed to ensure they remain fit for purpose.
- Investigate and analyse existing cloud structures to create new and enhanced methods that will enhance the security of cloud-based environments.
- Internal support, management, and monitoring of the M365 services and estate, ensuring alignment with overall IT strategy and integration with other solutions.
- Engaging with stakeholders on the technical strategy and design of cloud infrastructure platforms and M365 to support business strategies.
- Preparing, running, and testing reports that ensure the health of cloud and on-premise environments.
- Ensure robust business continuity and disaster recovery processes, procedures and testing regimes are in place.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver Cloud service improvements.
- Managing 3rd party relationships to ensure suppliers are meeting and exceeding their SLAs in relation to the provision of the service.
- Understanding capacity and actively managing running costs associated with cloud and on-premise environments.
- Experience in working with technical and non-technical business personnel to C level in a manner appropriate to the stakeholder.
- Understand the implications of standards and regulations such as GDPR, ISO27001, NCSC Cloud Security Principles, CIS, to inform decision making.

**Experience Required**
- Microsoft Azure PaaS, IaaS, SaaS & M365 design and management
- Experience in hybrid Active Directory and Azure AD configuration and management
- Experience in configuring and managing Azure AD and Active Directory Domain Service
- Experience in Intune/SCCM, Microsoft 365, Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS), Teams,
- Microsoft/Microsoft 365 Security - Azure ATP, DLP, AIP, Azure, Group Policy, Exchange, Windows Server OS, Windows desktops
- Experience in the design and implementation of migration strategies from an on-premise environment to M365
- Practical skills for provisioning and management of Azure and Microsoft 365 resources
- Experience with building and supporting Sharepoint Online
- Experience in compliance management within M365 (GDPR/ISO27001)
- Experience in designing, building, and operating virtual environments, Hyper-V and VMWare
- Experience in designing backup and recovery solutions, Veeam Backup & Replication, or other back up technologies
- Networking and SAN - Routing or Switching experience
- Hardware Maintenance (Servers, Laptops, or Desktops)
- Experience in Anti-Virus, Anti-Malware & Anti-Spam Solutions
- Strong Microsoft SQL skills covering installation, configuration, and administration
- Strong Infrastructure security including hardening of Microsoft operating systems and excellent troubleshooting experience.
- Strong Infrastructure related troubleshooting and problem-solving experience
- Knowledge of Cyber Security best practise within a Cyber Essentials Plus or ISO27001
