**Composite Supervisor**

We’re looking for a **Composite Supervisor** to join our team on a full-time basis working 40 hours per week (Monday-Thursday 7.00am-5.30pm).

**Main Role Purpose and Responsibilities**

The primary focus of the Composite Supervisor would be one of support for the Pre-Production Manager, liaising with the supply chain, Design, Engineering, Boatbuilding, composites and Joinery to ensure the requirements for build, is supported and implemented through discussions with the Pre-Production Manager, and Production Director.

This position reports to the Pre
- Production Manager regarding all facility related issues, health & safety, resource requirements and quality.
- Responsible for the welfare and safety of the employees under your control, ensuring the facility is clean, tidy and free from hazards
- Responsible for highlighting resource requirements to the Pre-Production Manager
- Ensure productivity throughout the day
- Drive pace of productivity
- Maintaining and improving quality
- Presence on the shop floor to run the shift activity
- Line Manager to Team Leaders and workshop employees, and main point of contact through which all HR issues of the team are fed
- Responsible for adhering to manufacturing and facility budgets and targets
- Training & upskilling junior laminators
- Feedback and review manufacturing processes to find improvements and time savings wherever possible.

- Thorough knowledge of Laminating, Composites and Boat building
- Infusion knowledge
- GRP experience
- Functional and technical skills to perform the job at a high level
- Marine experience and a good understanding of boatbuilding / marine engineering fit-out
- Pro-active and adaptable, with a willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges

**Desirable skills**
- Computer literate - Rhino 3D, M1, Project
- Knowledge of Health and Safety guidelines
- Driving license - UK, clean

**Location**

The place of work is normally at our either of our sites in Falmouth or at our site in Mylor Creek Boat Yard, Mylor Bridge.

**Salary**

Negotiable dependent on experience, in the region of £34,000-£40,000 per annum
