**Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Bolton

**Salary**: £60k - £68k + Package**

**The Company**:
Our client is a well-established, award-winning contractor who have over 25 years in delivering Highways and Utility projects for their clients. Due to new work won they are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them on a Permanent basis, initiallyworking on Highways projects before moving on to Waste Water Treatment works.

**The Role**
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for managing & supporting the commercial team on the successful delivery of each project. Reporting into the Commercial Manager or Commercial Director to deliver projects in time and within budget.

**Duties**:

- Sub-contract procurement and commercial management
- Management and control of sub-contract accounts and variation accounts
- Liaising with the buyers on materials procurement and buying opportunities
- Manage the day to day cost control, monitoring and reporting
- Measure progress, assist in submitting valuations, final accounts and retention release and monitor receipt of payment in a timely manner
- Process subcontractor requests for payment and issue of notices
- Monthly cost / valuation report and cash flow for the designated projects
- Attend project and company related meetings
- Manage the costs on a project to ensure both the company and the client is fully advised of the cost situation
- Ensure timely cash flow management for the Client and the group, and the supply change

**Requirements**:

- Must have experience working on Highways, Heavy Civil Engineering or Waste Water Treatment projects
- Must be able to demonstrate a stable and progressive career on their CV
