Stonegate Farmers Ltd is seeking a Dispatch Operative to join our Warehouse Division of our production facility based in Lacock, Wiltshire.

As a Dispatch Operative, you will assist in the completion of all product being prepared for dispatch in our Packing Centre.

Moving millions of mother nature’s most fragile food items every day takes finesse and know how. We work closely with our producers to collect, grade and package each individual egg. So many fresh eggs requires fresh thinking therefore we only employ the most enthusiastic people for our operations, who have hearts of gold - just like our eggs

We deliver daily from hen houses right across the country to the most exclusive restaurants and to many of the UK’s leading supermarkets, together with first class egg products to some of the biggest names in food manufacturing.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- To assist in the completion of all customer orders being picked and loaded before the set departure time.
- Ensure correct procedures for picking and loading are followed, help with any picking and loading of orders when required.
- Count finished goods stock at the start or end of each shift.
- At all times it is important that you comply with the company rules and always work safely.
- To ensure that food materials despatched are safe, legal and of the quality expected by the business and customer.
- To develop a working environment that is free from intimidation, harassment and bullying.
- Only operate machinery that you have been trained to use.
- Ensure you use the correct PPE for the task at all times and the PPE used is in good condition
- You must play your part in the health and safety policy. You must be safety conscious in every task you perform and lookout for the safety of others working around you.
- Ensure correct manual handling techniques are followed at all times.
- To comply with all hygiene and food safety procedures

**Person Specification**:

- Basic IT skills
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to problem solve, providing solutions to issues that arise
- Ensure adherence to standards, particularly quality and cleaning standards
- Willing To Learn
- Team Player
- Excellent attitude and work ethic
- An enthusiasm for food and production of food
- The ability to learn and pass food based qualifications

**Qualifications / Experience**:

- Warehouse experience is essential for this role.
- Previous experience within FMCG Environment is advantagoues but not essential

**Salary**: £11.44 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chippenham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 1 year (required)
- Order picker: 1 year (required)
