Experienced Fitter

Impact Test Equipment is looking for an experienced Fitter/Tester to join our team based at our facility in Stevenston. At Impact we are focused on our customer and their requirements. Our team works to exceptionally close tolerances, which is essential requirements of the Civil Engineering and Construction industry dictates.

Within the role you’ll be assembling, in house production items, as well as identifying fault in customers equipment prior to effecting repairs. You will regularly use measuring equipment such as Micrometers, Vernier Calipers and slip gauges. Working from drawings where possible, but will from time to time, be required to identify faults using your experience and knowledge. **Key Skills**:

- Apprentice trained (or equivalent level of qualification) ideally within Mechanical / Electrical.
- Proven experience within an engineering/manufacturing role would be preferred.
- Good knowledge of assembly and test manufacturing.
- We are looking for someone who is dynamic and possesses a proactive attitude.
- Display effective communications and relationship building with all colleagues.
- Flexibility towards overtime when available.
- Able to communicate professionally with staff on all levels.
