Bar Supervisor

Today our magnificent Castle has 42 bedrooms and recently undertaken a 3-million-pound development.

**The Role**:

- Assist the food & beverage manager with the management of the bar team, ensuring the smooth running of all bar and lounge operations
- Preparation and service of drinks/cocktails/coffees etc
- Serve drinks and snacks by way of both bar and table service
- Ensure that the bar, tables, and chairs are kept clear and clean at all times
- Maintain appropriate stock levels on the bar shelves and fridges
- Process cash, card, and room charge payments.
- Ensure that guests receive an efficient, friendly, consistent, and personalised service from yourself and all members of the shift team
- Provide assistance with the management of all statutory and company regulations relating to health & safety, hygiene, fire and emergency procedures
- Carry out any additional duties required by the Bar Manager.

**The Person**:

- Hospitality experience is essential
- No qualifications necessary, however a basic understanding of Maths and English is required
- Strong customer service skills, an attention to detail and good communication skills are vital
- Must be smart and well presented
- Ability to work well as a member of the team and hotel family
- Committed to professional excellence.
