We provide a comprehensive range of Maternity Services in our Community and from our Hospital sites at Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone as well as our stand-alone Birth Centres in Maidstone and Crowborough.

An opportunity has arisen for you to join the Womens and sexual Health Directorate. You will be responsible for the provision of effective rota co-ordination for the inpatient and community Maternity Services. The role will require you to be an excellent communicator as you will liaise regularly with Matrons, Area Managers, Midwives, Maternity Support Workers and other support staff in Maternity. Your role will include ensuring that there are safe staffing levels and an appropriate skill mix on each shift with the support of the Care Pathway coordinators. This will require you to have an oversight of the Maternity Staff working patterns and amend rosters when guided by those providing you with support.

Maternity services require a dedicated rota co-ordination as part of a job share to ensure a seamless service is provided delivering the appropriate maternity staffing resources in line with clinical activity You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a positive and solution focused attitude at all times to ensure rotas are in place to deliver an efficient and effective operational Maternity service.

You will be expected to maintain confidentiality and adopt a positive attitude towards staff, patients and relatives at all times and will be required to work on your own initiative, in accordance with Trust policies and procedures, referring issues to your Line Manager as appropriate.
