Editor - Series

**About The Role**:
**Start Date**:May 2023 (2-4 weeks of part time, then 36 weeks of full time, and 4-8 weeks of part time)

**End Date**:Mid year 2024

**Full Time**:40 hours per week (pre production) and 45 hours per week (shoot)

**Contract**:Fixed Term

**Salary**:Depending on experience

**Location**:Gas Ferry Road and Aztec West studios, Bristol

We are looking for an Editor to work on an exciting stop frame/ mixed medium pilot for Aardman Animations.

You will be responsible for editing the pilot from storyboard to final delivery. You will work closely with the Directors and Producer to create the narrative, structure, and tone of the pilot. This will involve assembling the story panels into an animatic consisting of scenes, dialogue, sound effects, music and graphics.

You will then continue to edit the pilot throughout the production, to oversee post production and ensure the final pilot is delivered on time and at the highest quality.

**About You**:
We are looking for someone with a good understanding of video and audio formats, plus prior experience working on an animated comedy series or animated film. You will have strong attention to detail and experience using systems such as Storyboard Pro, Premiere or AVID.
