We have a rare and exciting opportunity to join NRG Riverside as a Bid Co-ordinator supporting the Bids and Tender and wider Commercial Team, working a hybrid model of 3 days in our head office in Skelmersdale and the remaining 2 days based at home.

You will be responsible for co-ordinating the bid response process, organising and maintaining a tender library, managing a shared mailbox as well as supporting with reporting using our CRM system, Salesforce.

You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail is a key attribute of this role. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills are essential (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and prior experience of using Salesforce or a similar CRM is desirable.
- The monitoring of tender notifications.
- The review of tender documents and the scheduling and chairing of bid calls.
- The preparation and management of formal bid documentation for submission to both private and public sector customers.
- Managing multiple bids and tenders at any one time.
- Creating professionally written proposal responses that clearly articulate our value proposition.
- Compiling, co-ordinating and reviewing proposal responses from a variety of stakeholders, ensuring the final response is compelling, consistent, compliant and clear, and that the submission reads with a ‘common voice’.
- Organise and manage the company tender library to ensure pre-qualification and bid submissions are efficiently prepared and excellently presented.
- Produce the company/technical documentation, in accordance with the customer’s requirements, and to a standard which results in as high a quality evaluation mark as possible
- Manage the Tenders mailbox with all actions allocated in a timely manner.
- Maintain a Tender Report to aid monthly and any ad hoc reporting.
- Work closely with our Business Development team to ensure that our CRM is always up to date driving data and compliance excellence within the system.
- To undertake any other duties as specified from time to time in accordance with NRG Riverside’s business requirements.

You’ll have the ability to converse at all levels and have a passion for getting things done and learning new skills and we encourage new ideas, as we are always looking for our processes and submissions to be the very best they can be.

You’ll like to meet people and will be encouraged to get out and about to learn about our business particularly during your induction period, so occasional travel to our national workshops will be required.
