Elevation Accountancy & Finance are really pleased to be working in an exclusive partnership with a growing organisation based in the Doncaster area who are looking to recruit a professional Senior Bookkeeper to join their team, on a permanent basis.

Duties of the Bookkeeper will include:

- Process and reconcile purchase ledger
- Liaising with suppliers, checking invoices & bank details
- Process and reconcile sales ledger
- Cash book processing and bank reconciliation
- VAT return preparation
- Petty cash and expense accounting
- Maintain and update the fixed asset registers
- Monthly journal preparation and posting
- Preparation of accounts to trial balance
- Assisting with queries, reporting and payments

Key Skills & Experience Required:

- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a finance department or bookkeeping role, more preferred
- Detailed understanding of bookkeeping and accounting procedures
- Experience using Sage and Microsoft Office packages
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
