**Traffic Management Operative**

**Location**: Manchester

**Salary**:up to £170 per shift depending qualifications, skills and experience.

**Wages are paid fortnightly and**this position comes with a company van for commute purposes and overtime opportunity**

Guaranteed 48 hours per week based on Shift rotation7 days on and 3 days off, then another 7 days on and 3 days off, followed by 4 days on and 4 days off. This means you will work only 2 weekends per month

We operate from these locations on a 24hr callout basis 365 days a year.

All operatives, supervisors and management are trained to NRSWA unit 2 and 10 as a minimum requirement along with a robust induction to ensure Health and Safety, on-the-job and task-specific training are at a premium. These factors enable us to provide ahigh-end service that is safe and efficient for all customers.

**Responsibilities**:
The Traffic Management Operative sits at the heart of everything we and you will be responsible for:

- Installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management such as deploying cones, signs, frames, and bags and high and other equipment on low speed roads.
- Undertaking traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses
- Maintenance of temporary traffic lights
- Helping and guiding new trainees

**What good looks like**:
Qualified up to 12d, 12ab, M1-M6 is highly desirable however we will provide training where necessary
- TTMBC / T1 / T2 qualified is also acceptable
- Knowledge of Chapter 8
- Physically fit and able to pass a safety critical worker medical,
- You will possess a full driving licence, with no more than 6 points.
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol test
