Within this role you will be purchasing materials for manufacture such as Machining Components and Sheet Metal. This is a varied role with some site visits.

This position requires a purchaser from a manufacturing environment looking to join a close-knit team known for their great working environment, flexible approach and quality service.

THE ROLE
- Purchase materials (Sheet Metals / Machinery components)
- Identify prospective purchasing requirements within the business, source new suppliers, negotiate pricing with new and existing suppliers, negotiate payment and delivery terms.
- Build and maintain records relating to purchasing activity and contracted purchases.
- Conduct analysis of existing activity and identify improvement opportunities, and to implement improvement projects where appropriate.
