Job Description Where ICA Technician posts normally come with significant travel requirements or lengthy overnight stays, your role with us is different. We provide training to support developmentin technical areas specific to the Water and Waste Water industry and manufacture specific development.
Your duties will include but aren't limited to:
Maintenance, repair, diagnose, modify and install Instrumentation systems (including flow, level, pressure, temperature and numerous bio/chemical). You will be expected to understand, interpret and edit parameters/settings in order to maintain, repair modifyand install local and remote control systems including telemetry, radio, programmable logic controllers and computer based SCADA systems.
What you'll bring to the role
We are keen to hear from applicants with ICA experience and some training in PLC/Telemetry. Ideally you will also have completed at least one of the following qualifications in a relevant field: ONC, HNC, NVQ level 2/3 or a time-served apprenticeship.
You must hold a full valid UK driving licence and have a good understanding of instrumentation, control and automation processes. As this role is based in Kent and requires travel across the area, we are ideally seeking someone who resides in the Kent area,or within a reasonable commuting distance.
