Driver / Bearer

**About us**

We are recruiting for a casual driver / pall bearer to join our close-knit team to support our funeral-related operations.

Full training will be given but you must hold a full driving licence.

Your responsibilities will including:

- Collection of the deceased, primarily from nursing homes and hospitals, but also private homes, with another team member
- Being one of four Pall Bearers lifting and carrying coffins between the hearse and crematoria, churches and burial sites
- Forging strong links with the community and actively engaging with local groups to build the reputation of the business locally
- Experience of Funerals, emergency services or the military is preferred
- Immaculate presentation, with good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to conduct yourself in a dignified and professional manner
- Flexibility to work weekends and unsociable hours when the need arises, sometimes at short notice
- Drive and ambition to contribute meaningfully to our growth and be rewarded for it
- A full driving licence

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £11.00-£13.00 per hour
