Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This is a part time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.
**Duties**:
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Greet visitors and provide them with necessary information
- Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records
- Assist in managing calendars and scheduling appointments
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distributing
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks using Sage software
- Conduct research and compile data as needed
- Provide general administrative support to the team
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred
- Proficient in phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Strong typing skills with accuracy and attention to detail
- Familiarity with Sage accounting software is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
- Knowledge of clerical procedures and office management systems
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong computer skills, including the ability to use computerized systems
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: £10.62-£11.09 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
