**Role**

We have an opportunity for a Network Architect to join the team, reporting to the Head of Strategy & Architecture. We are growing our product and service offerings in the business-to-business space. Beyond the recent launch of Sky Connect we will look to bring more business service offers to the market mirroring the success of Comcast Business in the US.

**What you'll do**:

- Be responsible for technical architecture for major telco projects
- Be part of the core tech team leading the long-term end-to-end network architecture
- Travel internationally as required, mainly EU/US
- Lead virtual teams
- Work on sensitive projects in early stages
- Work with project managers to achieve transformation
- Work with business stakeholders, planning, design, technology management, vendors
- Define the art of the possible and lead from the front

**What you'll bring**:

- Detailed knowledge of service provider network technologies - IP/MPLS networks, carrier-class voice
- Understanding of enterprise WAN networking solutions and requirements
- Ability to take technical and commercial requirements and translate them into solutions and products for implementation.
- Experience in handling issuing and/or responding to commercial tenders, ideally in the networking space
- Modelling skills allowing you to prove business cases and demonstrate solution scaling
- Experience presenting to a range of audiences (technical / non-technical, executive / project teams)
- Holding responsibility for delivering large projects or deals (£10m - £100m TCV)
- Working with wholesale telecoms services e.g., BT Openreach access products
- Multi-vendor network integration projects
- New product introduction within a network operator environment
- Engaging with senior business stakeholders
