**The post is based offshore on the OSI Liverpool Bay on a 2/2/2/2/2/3 rotation - fixed term 12 months.**

**JOB TITLE**:Operations Supervisor**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ensure a safe system of work by compliance with work permits and risk assessments as per Client procedure
- Competent to act as OIM in any emergency on the installation
- Lead shift team meetings setting team objectives and monitor all work progress to ensure that shift objectives are achieved
- Ensure adherence to procedures to meet or exceed standards required in the Key Performance Indicators
- Promote the use and feedback learnings from START and Time Out For Safety (TOFS) and ensure site safety tours / meetings / exercises / audits take place in line with required frequency
- Facilitate investigations within the Client systems as Incident Team Leader
- Minimise equipment downtime by diagnosing faults and / or failures ensuring timely execution of repairs.
- Report on equipment repairs and maintenance, identifying problem areas and advising OIM / Operations manager accordingly
- Develop the installations work plan in conjunction with the OIM and OSI Lead Technician
- Carry out short term planning and prioritising in respect of planned maintenance, shutdown maintenance and breakdowns taking into account production requirements and opportunities.
- Assess the effectiveness of the planned maintenance programme in assuring reliability, recommends and actions / agreed changes accordingly.
- Authorisation for isolations and de-isolations within ISSOW
- Lead Change Procedure (CP) projects on the installation if required and under guidance from the project Responsible Engineer
- Assess and plan requirements for healthcare and other longer term support services and arranges such support.
- Visit work site on a daily basis
- Carry out 12 monthly appraisals and 6 monthly reviews with Petrofac core crew
- Play a key role in the ongoing programme of Competent Person Profile (CPP) and achieve assessor status
- Consider opportunities for succession planning & manage accordingly
- Lead the team to ensure high standards of performance and behaviours and promptly address shortfalls that are identified using Petrofac’s performance management and disciplinary process as appropriate.
- Responsible, in conjunction with OIM, for emergency team training and preparedness
- Assist with the initial response to asset emergencies
- Have working knowledge of the Petrofac Core Crew terms and conditions
- Senior Petrofac employee on the installation and as such is focal point for Petrofac issues
- Participate in the selection process for installation personnel
- Identify opportunities for multi-tasking & cross discipline synergies to optimise time & resources.
- Monitor and manage CMMS (SAP) time writing, history reporting, Work Order housekeeping, technical completions, compliance and promote Maintenance Change Request submission
- Ensure both verbal & written handovers, handover logs complete, ensuring information is current & discernible.
- Maintain close working relationship with Client Operations Manager when deputising for OIM
- Identify and deliver continuous improvements in performance and processes
- Take personal responsibility for safety and adhere to Petrofac’s ‘Eight Golden Rules’
- Take care of your personal health and safety and, by your actions, help to ensure the safety of others
- Comply with company policies, Code of Business Conduct etc., local policies, standards and legislation
- Bring to the attention of Supervisors any hazards or potential hazards in all spheres of activity
- Report promptly all accidents, incidents and near misses to the Supervisor
- Ensure knowledge and understanding of HS&E responsibilities and actively participate in health and safety activities on board the OSI
