Offering a salary of £33,618, the Shift Supervisor job purpose is to be responsible for managing the planning, co-ordination and control of the shift and related area of work.

The successful Shift Supervisor will undertake the following duties and responsibilities:

- Ensuring all adherence to all Health and Safety policies as adopted by the company
- Maintain excellent GMP standards at all times within the working area
- Deliver quality standards required of customers and external audits, for example BRC
- Ensure 100% compliance with product specification
- Manage and control data collection systems
- Motivate, manage, train and develop team workers
- Work to optimal output whilst spotting opportunities for continuous improvement
- Ensure KPI's are met with the resources at your disposal
- Manage and control costs within your department

The Shift Supervisor position requires comprehensive working relationships with all other Managers within the business and external liaison with customers, suppliers and contractors, so effective relationship building and management is key.

The ideal Shift Supervisor will have previous working knowledge of:

- Health and Safety
- Food Production and Manufacturing
- Food Hygiene

The successful Shift Supervisor will possess the following attributes:

- Positive, 'Can Do' attitude
- Computer literate, with the ability to generate reports
- Able to manage a varied workload
- Exceptional interpersonal and team working skills
- Strong independent problem solving skills
- Ability to adapt to change
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Communicate effectively, internally and externally

The Shift Supervisor will work Monday to Friday on an afternoon shift of 14.00pm - 22.00pm. The starting salary for this Shift Supervisor role is £33,618.
