Splash is one of the leading Bathrooms & Heating Independent companies within the Surrey area. We are looking to expand our workforce and are looking for the right person to join our fast-paced, friendly, and dynamic team.

We are currently looking to find someone for our Trade-Counter/Goods In department.

Our Trade-Counter/Goods In team are focussed on driving and supporting sales, as well as demonstrating great customer service. You’ll be the face (and voice) of the business, often the first point of contact a customer has with us. You’ll chat with customers throughout the day, both on the phone and in branch, helping them find the products they need for their projects and converting these into orders as well as building trust and lasting relationships with regular and new customers.

Role Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly manner, whilst providing expert advice.
- Maintain a clean and organized trade counter area, ensuring products are well-presented and fully stocked.
- To manage goods in and out. Checking incoming orders against corresponding paperwork.
- To report any discrepancies to line manager and supplier.
- Loading vehicles for despatch.
- Sending quotes and taking payments on the phone and in person.
- Delivering customer orders when required.

**Requirements and skills.**
- Experienced in Trade-counter and/or Warehouse skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Basic English skills.
- Clean driving license.
- Ability to lift sensible weights (Heavier items with a second person).
- Good understanding of Health and Safety - the company will provide additional courses.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, delivery drivers and suppliers.
- Familiarity with modern Trade-Counter and warehousing practices and methods.
- Ability to work on their own and use their own initiative.
- Looking to grow within the role to bigger opportunities within Splash.
- People person.
