We are recruiting on behalf of a small but lovely SEN school in Broadstairs for a number of Learning Support Assistant's to start on a long-term supply basis.

The school is a small special SEN school based in Broadstairs for children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health and Learning Difficulties. Many of the pupils have ASD, ADHD or other difficulties such as attachment difficulties. The school has a mixed roll of students between the ages of 11 and 17.

There is a highly competitive rate of pay of up to £85 per day, for working hours of 8.30am - 4pm.

Working days are Monday-Friday term time only.

**Requirements of the role are,**
- Experience supporting students with either, ASD, ADHD, or SEMH
- Experience working with students that have highly challenging behaviour
- Experience supporting students in 1:1 and group settings (any interventions experience is advantageous) or experience mentoring young people
- Experience working within a small SEN school is preferred

You will either need, or be willing to pay for a DBS on the update service.
- Working under the guidance of the classroom Teacher and helping to prepare and plan daily resources for learning

You will need to already have a DBS registered online (update service) or be willing to get a new one or pay £52.20 so we can run you a new one to work in our schools.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £85.00-£87.00 per day
