**Production Technician (Late Shift)**

Our client based in the Portsmouth area requires an experienced Production Technician on a Late Shift.

**Main Purpose of Job**:
Responsible for operating, setting and running the custom-made machinery within the automation division. Working as part of a busy team to achieve production targets and meet business requirements.

**Key Tasks**
- Responsible for ensuring special purpose assembly machinery within your area of control is running at all times.
- Working with the Production support team when problems occur to fix issued in a timely and efficient manor, to have least impact on product delivery targets.
- Undertake regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure efficient running of assembly machinery.

- Carry out your work in a safe and proper manner.
- Ensure your Personal Protective Equipment is fit for purpose and is used correctly at all times, reporting any concerns to your Manager or HR.
- Make sure that your work areas are kept clean and tidy, reporting all hazards to your Manager.
- Make sure that the service we provide, are to standards required by the Company to ensure customer and user safety.

Responsible for quality of work and for carrying out duties in accordance with Company Operating Systems, in particular Quality and Works Procedures.
