Live-in Housekeeper

Our client, with a beautiful country Estate close to Charlbury in Oxfordshire, is seeking a Live-in Housekeeper to join their established team of household staff.

The property is large, you would be working alongside 3 other full-time Housekeepers as well as 2 further part-time Housekeepers, as well as the rest of the Estate Team - this is a fully staffed property.

This is a busy, full-time property - the family consist of 2 adults and 3 older children, only 1 of which is living at the property full-time. There are dogs so it’s a must you are pet friendly.

**Duties include**:

- Wardrobe management including packing and unpacking, managing inventories etc
- Hands-on housekeeping - cleaning, tidying, and organising to a high standard
- Laundry & ironing - you must have knowledge of fabric care
- Assistance with Front of House duties including service
- Ad hoc duties and errands
- Proven experience and longevity in previous roles working in a similar capacity
- Excellent abilities with wardrobe management is essential - Lady’s Maid experience would be a real bonus
- Flexible and team player - happy to help out in other areas when the occasion arises
- Must be a driver with own car due to the location of the property

**Working days/hours**: 5 days / 40-45 hours per week - organised on a rota basis in advance
**Accommodation**: Cottage on the grounds of the Estate
**Salary**: £38,000+ depending on experience
