**Key responsibilities**
- Maintaining a safe and organised working environment in line with health & safety legislation
- Ensuring that all deliveries are scanned off the delivery

- Methodical in preparing carpets/flooring ready for carpet fitters
- Working with the shop team on stock requests
- Ensuring that carpet fitters follow our security procedures
- Maintaining stock levels of accessories
- Cutting in store stock rolls
- Re rolling carpets
- Dealing with carpet remnants & ensuring the stock levels are maintained
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards both front and back of store in line with company requirements
- Any other duties as direct by supervisory staff

**Competencies/Key Skills Required**
- Ability to communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Able to work off their own initiative
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Organisational skills including a high level of attention to detail
- The ability to assess and help customers efficiently and knowledgeably
- Health & Safety Conscious
- Computer literate
