**About the role**:
We are looking for a brilliant and dynamic Shop Floor Sales Assistant to join our fun, hardworking and forward-thinking team in our ever-expanding Garden Centre, just north of Oxford.

Yarnton Home & Garden is a garden centre undergoing a huge transformation and we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to help take our centre to the next level.

Our team are continuously working to achieve more and grow with us as the business grows. Becoming a part of our close-knit team means taking ownership from day one and producing a high standard of customer service and other tasks. We are looking for someone to start a successful, rewarding, and exciting career with us.

**Main Responsibilities will include**:

- Go the extra mile for our customers, making sure they have an amazing experience with us.
- Managing our compost area and car park. You will be responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of these areas as well as re stocking compost as and when required.
- Organising and retrieving customer trolleys and assisting customers with large orders to their cars.
- Share your product knowledge and experience with customers.
- Assist the visual merchandising team with creating eye catching displays.
- Promote our sustainable products to our customers.
- Be a great team player.
- Operating tills in our Garden Department.
- Assisting our warehouse team with pricing and booking in stock onto our Epos system.
- Assisting with customer deliveries where necessary.

**We are looking for**:

- A strong communicator who is confident to liaise across departments.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Comfortable working under pressure and multi-tasking.
- A good work ethic.
- Alternate weekend working is essential.
- Physically fit to carry out the tasks required.
