Grounds Maintenance Supervisor

At Countrywide Grounds Maintenance we provide a wide range of grounds maintenance serviced to both public and private sectors and pride ourselves in our quality service.

You will report to the our Hunmanby depot and will be responsible for implementing and monitoring all aspects of GM works to ensure works are carried out in a timely manner and to the required standard and in accordance with the contract specification. Working with the Contracts Manager to Lead, manage and motivate the operational team of Grounds Maintenance operatives.

**Duties include**:
Ø Report any missed visits

Ø Liaising with the operatives to ensure all PPE requirements are met

Ø Ensure daily workload is allocated and completed in the most efficient manner and check quality.

Ø Assessing job priorities and assigning staff to appropriate job tasks.

Ø Perform all aspect of grounds maintenance tasks on sites

Ø Carry out Health and Safety checks, including area safety checks.

**Skills/experience needed**:
Ø Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing at all levels.

Ø Demonstrable experience of effectively leading and managing teams.

Ø Full Driving Licence.

Ø Horticultural knowledge beneficial

Ø PA1, PA6 desirable

Ø Towing trailer experience desirable

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour
