Leaders Romans Group are looking for a new Energy Auditor to join us for a 12 month Fixed term basis.

**What can you expect from the role?**

As the Energy Reduction Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive energy reduction strategies to minimize our company's environmental footprint and drive cost savings.
You will play a key role in identifying opportunities for energy efficiency improvements and ensuring the successful execution of related initiatives.

**_ Please note that a full, clean UK driving license is required for this role as you will be expected to travel to our different branch locations throughout the UK._**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement an overarching energy reduction strategy aligned with our company's sustainability goals and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct energy audits and assessments of company facilities and operations to identify areas for improvement and potential energy savings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including facilities management, operations, and engineering, to evaluate energy usage patterns and implement energy-efficient technologies and practices.
- Research and recommend innovative energy conservation measures, renewable energy sources, and alternative technologies to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track energy usage, cost savings, and environmental impact, and prepare regular reports to communicate progress and achievements.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal stakeholders and employees on best practices for energy conservation and sustainability.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for external funding, incentives, and grants to support energy reduction projects and initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies related to energy management and sustainability, and integrate relevant advancements into our energy reduction strategy.

**To be considered for this role, the following experience and skills are desired**:

- A degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification in energy management is a plus.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing energy reduction programs, preferably within a corporate or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of energy management principles, energy-efficient technologies, and renewable energy solutions.
- Familiarity with energy modelling and analysis tools, as well as energy management software systems.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams and prioritize initiatives effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
