DESCRIPTION

Are you currently working as an insurance Account Handler with Commercial experience and interested in new roles, or do you have Personal Lines experience and hold the desire to progress into a Commercial Account Handler role?
If so, a brilliant opportunity has come to market for an Account Handler, working for a friendly brokerage just outside of Stockport.
THE ROLE:
Joining as Account Handler, you will be responsible for dealing with renewals and mid-term adjustments for a portfolio of commercial insurance clients. This is a great position and opportunity for you to develop your experience and establish yourself with a long-term career in the commercial broking arena.
Key responsibilities for Account Handler role include, but are not limited to:

- Handling renewals and mid-term adjustments for a range of cross-class commercial clients.
- Utilising your negotiation skills when liaising with insurers to get the best possible deal to cover your client insurance needs.
- Delivering an outstanding level of service to clients at all times, responding to queries effectively and in a timely manner.
- Ensuring all information is recorded accurately on the system.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Experience within the insurance industry is a must, either from a Commercial or Personal Lines background.
- It is imperative that you are an ambitious individual with an eagerness to learn and continue with your professional development.
- A strong work ethic and determined attitude, willing to work hard as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital to your success in the role.
- Have an inquisitive mindset and be capable of fact finding.
