**Teacher Assistant required in Croydon**

Protocol is currently recruiting for enthusiastic Teacher Assistants to work in a variety of amazing secondary schools based in the Croydon area. You will be doing day-to-day bookings and short-term or long-term placements, depending on your personal preferences.

Key responsibilities:

- Getting the classroom ready for lessons.
- Assisting Teachers in preparing the lesson materials and school equipment
- Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks.
- Supporting teachers in managing class behaviour.
- Supervising group activities.
- Helping pupils stay focused during class hours.
- Providing a healthy and safe learning environment for children.
- Have at least 6 months’ experience in an educational setting.
- Would like to gain further experience in the education sector.
- Have an ability to build good working relationships with both pupils and adults.
- Have good organisational skills.
- Enjoy working with children.
- Have good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Have a calm persona and ability to manage behaviour.

All of our supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard earned cash. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
