An exciting permanent full time (37.5 hours) opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Psychologist working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

The Assistant Psychologist will be required to support and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within Psychological Services, across sectors of care; providing psychological assessment and psychological interventions under the supervision of an HCPC Registered Psychologist. Working independently according to a work plan agreed with the supervisor, and within the overall framework of the Psychological Service’s policies and procedures. To assist in clinically related administration, conduct of audits, collection of statistics and development of audit and/or research projects, literature searches, teaching and project work.

The Post-holder is required to have at least an Upper Second Class Honours degree in Psychology and must be eligible for the Graduate Basis for Chartership of the British Psychological Society (GBC). They must have a high level of computer skills and knowledge of programmes and statistical packages. They should also have had experience of relevant paid/voluntary work.

**It is essential that the post holder is a car driver with valid driving licence and access to transport.**
