The ONE Group are thrilled to be partnering with one of the top FMCG business in the area, and whose presence are globally known. They are looking to appoint a commercially aware Operations Accountant to join their team based in Ashbourne, on a full time,permanent basis.
This role will see you managing and mentoring 1 direct report, analysing costs and business partnering with key stakeholders.
**Being responsible for the Operational Accounting for two different sites, your duties will include**:

- Establishing the standard costs of service or products
- Analysing organisational data and assessing rates of labour, depreciation and overhead and recommend policy amendments that will improve numbers.
- Recommending changed to policies and procedures to improve the company's cash flow.
- Submitting and preparing accounting reports to management every month and quarter.
- Overseeing an Accounts Assistant, making sure they are supported and mentored.
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- To support the business projects and improve policies

This role is fully site based 5 days a week, with the expectation of occasional travel to their Sleaford site, that you will also be accountable for.
The salary for this role is between £40,000-£50,000 depending on experience.
