Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAM) is one of six heavy aircraft maintenance providers for our client Ryanair, carrying out maintenance on Ryanair's entire fleet of New Generation Boeing 737-800 series aircraft, at our Hangar facility located at Prestwick International Airport, Ayrshire, Scotland.

We are currently recruiting for Trainee Aircraft Mechanic to join a team of highly skilled staff, with an essential part to play in safely maintaining a fleet of over 500 aircraft for one of the world’s largest and most successful airlines.

Reports to: Supervisor

Location: Glasgow Prestwick International Airport

**Duties will include, but not limited to**:

- Responsible for carrying out maintenance tasks as required and allocated with mínimal supervision
- Maintain a high standard of work in all tasks
- Complete the appropriate documentation
- Comply with all company procedures, policies, regulations and MOE
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to
- Any other tasks as directed by Supervisor / Manager

**Requirements**:
**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Previous aircraft maintenance experience is desirable, however not essential.
- HNC / HND or equivalent qualification in engineering / mechanical is essential.
- Background in engineering/maintenance is essential.
- Exhibit a positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
- Must be willing to work shifts (including nights).
- Flexible approach to working in a fast-changing environment.
