We are seeking a kind, friendly, and enthusiastic individual to join a team of experienced Intensive Support workers to provide high quality clinical care and support to people in their own homes.

We provide support to people who have long term health conditions, non-invasive ventilation support needs and ventilated support needs within their own homes.

We have full time, part time and sessional vacancies available within the Newton Mearns and Uddingston areas. The shift pattern includes day shift, long days, and nightshift. A 4-week rolling rota is in place in both services.

Do you want to work within an expanding service, of an Employee-Owned award winning organisation, with staff that share our values and are committed to providing personalised services to the people we support?
- Use excellent communication skills to assist people with their clinical and health care needs; monitoring individuals mental and physical health as per care plans, ensuring the recording of all necessary documentation
- Assist with personal care
- Work to deliver and follow outcome-based support plans with the people we support
- Meet the explicit range of competencies as set out by HSCP and relevant other partners and
- Undertake specialist training, as agreed, to be suitably skilled.

**Additional desirable qualities, qualifications and experience of the post holder include**:

- Hardworking, flexible, motivated, and driven to do the right thing by the people we support
- Ability to develop positive working relationships, with excellent communication skills and active listening skills
- SVQ 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care or a commitment to undertake a SVQ
- Registration with the Scottish Social Service Council (SSSC) or a commitment to become registered
- Proficient computer skills
- Previous experience within a similar role is advantageous
- A full UK driving licence is advantageous.

PVG checks will be required for the successful applicant, as are two references: one being from the most recent employer.

**Salary**: £10.70-£13.30 per hour
