Cornish Lithium are seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative Graduate Geologist. This position will be based at the Lithium in Geothermal Waters (LiGW) site near Redruth, Cornwall.
**Job Summary**
As a Graduate Geologist your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting all activities pertaining to Data, Exploration and Innovation working across the business on a range of topics
- Supporting exploration targeting and site selection for the geothermal workstream
- Writing routine memos, reports and updates regarding team activities
- Ensuring good data management
- Interpretation and analysis of geological
- Interpretation and analysis of geophysical data
- Politely and professionally interact with the surrounding
We would welcome applicants with the following attributes:
- Degree in Geology or related topic
- Experience working independently and within a team
- GIS skills in ArcGIS and/or QGIS
- Experience in synthesizing large amounts of data from a variety of sources
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work on own initiative, pro-active
- Strong competence in IT
- Right to work in the
- Valid UK Driving Licence
Desirable factors:
- An understanding of geological/geochemical/geophysical surveys
- Basic coding skills in Python or related programming language

The role will be based at the Company’s Geothermal Waters Plant, United Road, Redruth, TR16 5HY. Annual leave comprises 25 days’ holiday per year pro rata, plus UK Bank Holidays.
