We have an exciting opportunity for the position of Payroll Administrator at our Llanelli office.
We are looking for a person with previous payroll experience although, not essential.
The skills you will need to suit this role are:
- Being able to work in a small team in a busy environment.
- Being able to communicate well, and adapt to clients as well as colleagues.
- Good numeracy and logical skills are required.
- Good computer skills required, with an understanding of Payroll Manager favoured.
- Processes payroll and CIS returns every pay period per client requirements
- Maintains payroll and CIS processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
- Computes employee/subcontractor take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes
- Answers clients questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records
- Adheres to payroll and CIS policies and procedures and complies with relevant law and current regulations
- Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records
- Honours confidentiality of clients’ pay records
- Completes payroll and CIS reports for record-keeping and accounts purposes
- Determines client’s tax obligations by calculating taxes, National Insurance and pension contributions
- Process relevant paperwork
- Liaise with HMRC
- Supervises other employees as needed
**Salary**: From £19,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
