Café Assistant/barista

Café Assistant at Café Vanilla at Burnham Nurseries Ltd.

Due to a recent hiring not working out we are looking for a new member to join our friendly café team.

Primary task will be barista coffee making, **experience is essential** and additional training will be given. Also taking orders, cash handling, waiting on tables, clearing tables and general kitchen and cleaning duties.

Any Food Hygiene Certificate would be useful but not essential to start with, this can be obtained through online training.

The hours would be 10.00am - 2.30pm on 3 weekdays, days to be confirmed, plus hours on one weekend each month when we have our open weekends. This equals 13.5 hours minimum at the rate of pay £10.50/hour for a regular week. The days may vary depending on requirement to help cover holiday, sickness and busy days etc. Applicants should be able to be flexible with days they can work.

Applicants should be well presented, friendly with good customer service skills, keen to learn, responsible and happy to work in our friendly team. Own transport is vital as we are outside of the town.

We are looking to fill this role immediately so applicants should be available to start asap.
