Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our team. As the Front of House Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the dining experience and ensuring exceptional customer service. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Help the manager and supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders
- Ensure smooth operations during service hours, including seating arrangements, reservation management, and customer flow
- Train and onboard new staff members on service standards, menu knowledge, and customer interaction
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and delivery
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Implement and enforce food safety and hygiene standards
- Oversee inventory management for front-of-house supplies
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of food production, culinary techniques, and food safety regulations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and professionalism
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using restaurant management software or POS systems

Pay: £10.00-£11.50 per hour
