The Rostering Lead is responsible for managing the maintenance of the medical rota systems and the production of junior doctor work schedules in accordance with the EWTD and the 2016 Junior Doctor Contract requirements.

Continuing the progress made thus far, the post holder will be required to take the lead role in working with ward/unit/service managers to embed the e-rostering system across all Directorates and specialties.

To manage the medical rota system from a centralised function to support the divisional rota coordinators.

Proactively engage with all stakeholders and ensure effective and positive communication with regards to the changes required to successfully embed and maximise the potential of the e-rostering system.

To act as the Information Asset Owner and be responsible for the proper and safe use of the e-rostering system and software by all users across the trust by ensuring data integrity and database security.

To ensure optimal system management and performance in relation to the interfaces with existing systems including ESR.
