**The Opportunity**:
This post is **full-time (35 hours per week **), however, we are open to considering part-time and flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.

**Your skills and attributes for success**:

- Relevant PhD or equivalent experience (simulation of radar or radio-based Earth observation, other remote sensing, electronic engineering, mathematics etc.)
- Ability to work independently under appropriate supervision to a high academic standard
- An up-to-date understanding of the science of the terrestrial carbon cycle Experience of working collaboratively in large, diverse teams from across the globe
