**Vacancy: Network Connections Surveyor (Electricity Distribution)**

**Location: (Glasgow, Ayrshire & Clyde South, West Dumfries & Lanarkshire)**

**About us**:PBS Utility Services Ltd are a dynamic organisation with over 12 years’ experience of providing vital support services within the utilities industry. We have a particular focus on surveying and inspecting the assets and networks of large utility clients, and we are currently recruiting motivated and ambitious individuals to join our team as we expand to meet client demands.

We are looking for a reliable and personable surveyor who has a good knowledge of the electrical network, to attend pre-booked surveys at customer properties and to discuss their requirements for alterations or upgrades to their supply.
- Onsite terrain.
- Current location of underground / overhead equipment.
- Proposed cable route to customers termination points from existing equipment.
- Onsite measurements.
- Surface type and any potential issues identified which could impact the design proposal.

**Other Responsibilities**:

- To maintain regular communication with the office team and support staff.
- To carry out risk assessments and vehicle inspections.
- To follow all company policies linked to this role.
- To undertake any other training that would be required for the role.

**Other Information**:

- Remuneration - OTE £38,000 (£32,000 basic salary plus £6,000 compliance bonus).
- Hours of work - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday unless agreed otherwise.
- Holidays - 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
- Vehicle, fuel card, tools & PPE provided.

**Person Specification**

**Compulsory Requirements and Skills**
- Excellent time keeping and customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be comfortable working alone.
- Must hold a full driving licence.
- Must be comfortable using remote handheld devices & Microsoft Outlook.

**Salary**: Up to £38,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
