**Role Purpose**

This is an exciting opportunity to join our forward-thinking and highly regarded Graduate Recruitment & Development team (GR&D) in a newly created role.

The GRO will work closely with the London Graduate Recruitment & Development Manager (GR&D Manager) and EMEA+ Associate Director of Recruitment (ADR) to establish market leading outreach programmes and initiatives to assist the Firm achieve its social mobility and diversity objectives.
The GR&D team are responsible for recruiting diverse talent onto the Firm's graduate streams, which the GRO will support via Early Careers and Outreach programmes.

This role requires someone who has worked in the legal sector or has a background within professional services, and who has had experience in the diversity space within the content of early careers and graduate recruitment and is passionate about influencing change.

**Main Responsibilities**

**Early Careers**
- With support and guidance from the EMEA+ Associate Director of Recruitment (ADR) and London GR&D Manager, develop and oversee a 'best in class' Early Careers outreach programme from inception to implementation with the aim to enhance the social mobility of the Firm's graduate talent pipeline.
- Work with the EMEA+ ADR and London GR&D Manager to create and implement a Professional Services apprenticeship programme, including ownership of recruitment and selection and providing pastoral and development support to the apprentice cohorts once in role.
- Manage the Firm's PRIME programme.

**Inclusion & Diversity**
- Working closely with the GR&D Manager and the Inclusion and Diversity Manager ensuring best practice methods which align to our inclusion and diversity strategy and continued success of our early talent strategy.
- Acting as the key person in the team for diversity related initiatives with our partner organisations including Aspiring Solicitors and SEO.
- Managing diversity events with support from the GR&D Coordinator.
- Taking an active interest in diversity & inclusion and competition analysis so we remain competitive.
- Review and analyse data to identify ways to improve our recruitment practices.

**Ad hoc**
- Support the GR&D team on all aspects of seat rotation and wider trainee development.
- Support the GR&D team with the graduate recruitment cycle where required.
- Provide support, as and when required, to the Recruitment Leadership Team and work collaboratively as part of a regional Recruitment team, assisting other offices on recruitment activity and projects.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Graduate Recruitment Partner, Graduate Recruitment Panel, Trainees, Associates, and key business professional teams.
- Lead / participate minimum of one FY recruiting project as it relates to a designated recruitment work-stream and sub-streams and participate in ad-hoc recruitment projects as and when required.
- Participate in various recruiter organisations to increase personal networking, knowledge sharing and promotion of the Firm.
- Ensure ROI of the various I&D schemes the Firm runs.

**Technical skills, qualifications and experience**
- Experience of a similar role - including both Graduate Recruitment, Trainee Development and diversity initiatives - ideally within a professional services organisation at Officer/Advisor level
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- A flexible approach to meet current and future business needs
- Flexibility as the role will involve some travel and evening events
- A good knowledge of relevant IT systems
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to quickly understand the Firm's HR policies and procedures
- Ability to plan, schedule and arrange own activities to accomplish objectives
- Strong client service ethos and delivery focus
- Ability to build rapport at all levels
