Our client, a fast growing Fintech organisation, is currently recruiting for a Software Test Engineer to join their QA team. The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for writing and executing tests and identifying and tracking bugs within Jira.

This is a hybrid remote and working in the office based role.

**Key Responsibilities for the Software Test Engineer**
- Perform functional and non-functional testing
- Ensure our products meet industry set standards
- Work closely with software engineers, product managers and assist in debugging and testing
- Perform automated and manual testing, including regression testing for each release cycle to ensure software meets business, performance, and security requirements
- Drive and help to establish best practices and testing processes

**Key Experience for the Software Test Engineer**
- Ability to write and execute high quality test procedures
- Basic MySQL knowledge to interrogate databases
- Structured test techniques to derive appropriate test coverage and drive efficiency in test along with exposure to development approaches like TDD / BDD / FDD
- Experience of working with Linux command line
- Manual Testing experience
- Proven experience using tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Jira or equivalent
